Maeghan Dewar is a Vice President with DFH and leads the British Columbia practice from our Vancouver office. She has played key strategic roles advising some of Canada’s largest companies on government relations, strategic communications, and reputation management. She has experience working on a diverse range of issues – including financial transactions, stakeholder relations and major regulatory processes – in the energy, infrastructure, non-profit, and telecommunications sectors.
Maeghan has more than a decade of political and policy experience at both the provincial and federal levels, in senior communications and issues management roles. She was an advisor to Manitoba Premier Gary Doer and was a key part of Jack Layton’s team during the 2011 federal breakthrough.
Maeghan has an intimate understanding of the inner workings of government policy development and is known for her ability to help clients communicate effectively with government and find common ground.
